Transformation Thursday: Set the world on fire!

Reading 2Tim 1:6-8

Stir into flame the gift of God!

You have been given a spirt of power, love and self control.

Bear the hardships.

There's more to that whole verse (dare ya to look it up and spend some time with it)...but the idea is that YOU can set the world on fire when 'you do you' as they say.

God has given you everything you need to do what HE is asking of you...and what you are most likely feeling compelled to do, desiring to accomplish or wishing you could....so don't let the doubt or discouragement of what has or hasn't happened stop you from living the life God has given you ...and to STIR INTO FLAME means that YOU have to do a little of the 'head work' to make change happen. Think forward, not dwelling back...use your self control to strategize and plan, but then remember that you don't and can't control everything...JUST YOUR ATTITUDE toward what does happen!

I know you will continue to kindle the flame that burns in you. What you would dare to do today if you truly believed that you have been given a spirit of COURAGE? What will you take 20 seconds of courage and go do?

Brave one..transform thyself!
